ABDOMEN & PELVIC MRI ( with and without contrast )

Technique : precontrast :axial T2 haste , axial vibe – dixon – coronal vibe – dixon – sagittal T2/haste – sagittal blade – coronal T2/FATSAT- axial T2-FATSAT- axial DWI with ADC.

post contrast :coronal vibe dixon – sagittal vibe dixon – axial vibe dixon – coronal & sagittal T1

REPORT:

The liver is normally positioned and has normal size and internal structure with smooth borders and normal portahepatis.

The intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile ducts and gallbladder are not distended.

The spleen is of normal size and has homogenous internal structure.

The pancreas is normal in size and position.

Both kidneys , renal pelvis and calices  are normal in size and position.

Major vessels and the paraaortic region appear normal , with no evidence of lymphadenopathy.

The pelvic inlet appears normal , with normal configuration of iliac wings and iliopsoas muscles.

No abnormalities are found in imaged bowel structures and there are no signs of wall thickening or mass lesions.

The uterus has normal internal structure and junctional zone is felt to be within normal limiths.

The adnexa appear normal on both sides.

The urinary bladder appears normal and has normal wall thickness.

The femoral heads are normally shaped and articulate normally with the acetabula  they have normal bone marrow signal characteristics.

The soft tissues show no abnormalities.

The muscles around the pelvis are unremarkable.

Sacroiliac joints are unremarkable.

Complete gonadal dysgenesis with hypoplastic uterus & vagina suggestive of swyer syndrome is seen.

Clinical crrelation is recommended.
