PLACENTA MRI

siemens MRI ( magnetom altea 1.5 tesla )

-32 weeks single fetus pregnancy with cephalic presentation and anteriorly located placenta

-Conform to ultrasound findings at least four simple cystic lesions at right paravertebral subcutaneous region are seen at cervical,thoracic,sacral and the largest one measuring 25 mm at lumbar area without any obvious communication with paraspinal CSF space or dermal sinus tract.

At fetus evaluation :

-Also similar lesion measuring 12 mm at subcutaneous region of lateral distal of right thigh.

-Meanwhile multiple tiny cysts scattered throughout bilateral lower extremity soft tissue

-Although aforementioned cysts have nonspecific appearance,considering their random distribution the first diagnosis can be considered multiple cystic lymphangioma

-Postnatal ultrasound F/U is recommended
