CERVICAL SPINE MRI

(Without contrast)

Technique : Sagittal T1  , T2 , Axial T2 .

REPORT:

The cervical spine shows a smooth lordotic curvature with normal alignment.

The vertebral bodies and endplates are normal in shape  and signal intensity.

The intervertebral disk spaces are normal height and signal intensity .

The bony spinal canal has normal width which , neural foramina and  posterior element displays normal nature .

The imaged soft tissues show no abnormalities .

The visualized spinal cord is normal .

Predense distance is normal .

Paravertebral stripe is normal in shape and signal intensity .

– A well – defined lobulated mass lesion ( 20 x 25 x 30 mm ) in left side of larynx with extension to left parapharyngeal space, with post contrast homogeneous enhancement , involvement of left side of thyroid cartilage, deformity & displacement of left vocal cord & with lymphadenopathy in level 2b, in left side of neck (SAD = 13 mm)

result : TNM staging ( T4a – N1 – Mx( M0 ?) )
